Ingredients
For the patties:
1 pound ground beef, with at least 20% fat content
3⁄4 tsp salt
1⁄2 tsp freshly ground black pepper
2 tbsp butter, melted
6 oz Scandic® Farmer Cheese, thinly sliced
To assemble:
4 sesame seed rolls, split
4 crisply-cooked bacon slices
4 curly lettuce leaves
1 large tomato, sliced
2 dill pickles, drained and sliced
4 thin slices red onion
Steps
- For the patties: Preheat grill to a moderately hot temperature.
- Place ground beef in a large mixing bowl and add 2 tsp salt and freshly ground black pepper.
- Incorporate salt and pepper into the ground beef with your hands. Divide the mixture into four and shape into patties. Brush both sides of the patties with melted butter.
- Carefully lay burger patties onto the grill and cook for 4-6 minutes, turning once, until the patties are lightly charred and cooked to desired doneness; divide the Farmer Cheese slices on top of each patty about a minute before removing from the grill.
- To assemble: Briefly toast rolls on grill. Remove from grill and top bottom halves of rolls with bacon, lettuce and tomato.
- Top with burger patties, pickles, red onion and the tops of the rolls. Serve immediately.
