Ingredients
¾ cup Lars Own® Porridge Rice (½ package)
1¾ cups water
1 tsp salt
3 cups whole milk
1 cinnamon stick (optional)
Warm milk, sugar and ground cinnamon (optional)
Steps
- Combine rice, water and salt in 3-quart saucepan.
- Bring to a simmer; cover and cook over low heat 10 minutes.
- Stir in milk and cinnamon stick, if desired.
- Bring to a boil, stirring often.
- Reduce heat to low; cover and simmer 20-25 minutes or until rice is tender, stirring occasionally.
- Serve warm with milk, sugar and ground cinnamon, if desired.
