Stuffed Swedish Falukorv Sausage

1 ring Lars Own® Falukorv sausage (about 1¼ pounds), casing removed

1 small yellow onion, thinly sliced

2 small plum tomatoes, thinly sliced

2 Tbsp Lars Own® Swedish Style Spicy Brown Mustard

2 Tbsp ketchup


  1. Preheat oven to 400ºF. Cut sausage in half, forming two long links. Slice each sausage ¾ of the way though about every ½ inch, leaving sausage intact at bottom.
  2. Grease a shallow baking dish and arrange onion and tomato slices around bottom. Set sausage in dish. Combine mustard and ketchup; brush evenly over sausage.
  3. Bake 20-25 minutes or until browned on top and heated through. Serve hot.

Cook's tips

Lars Own Swedish Style Sweet & Mild Mustard can be used in place of the Spicy Brown Mustard, if desired.
